Walking in the realm of “King Laurin”

Ciampedie, the “Campo di Dio” or “God’s Field” is a panoramic balcony overlooking the Val di Fassa and the Dolomites, reachable by cable car from Vigo di Fassa or with the chairlifts from Pera di Fassa. From here, you can admire the Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada, Sasso Vernale, the crest of the Costabella, the Buffaure, the Monzoni and the Valaccia mountain groups from 2000 metres altitude in the centre of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten basin. The Latemar group, the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai are visible in the distance.
